HIFU skin tightening and non-surgical lifting
High-intensity focused ultrasound is the closest thing to a lift without surgery. It suits people starting to notice a softer jawline, heavier brows or loosening neck skin, and it can also be used on loose skin on the body.

How it works
The HIFU handpiece focuses ultrasound energy to precise depths beneath the skin, including the layer a surgeon tightens in a facelift. The surface is not touched. Tiny points of heat at those depths make the tissue contract and set off new collagen, which tightens and lifts over the following months.
What a course of treatment looks like
Many people need just one session, with results developing over two to three months as collagen forms. Results typically last 12 to 18 months. A yearly maintenance session keeps them going.
Is it right for you?
Usually a good fit
- Mild to moderate sagging along the jaw, cheeks, brow or neck
- Adults, usually in their 30s to 60s, whose skin still has some elasticity
- Loose skin on the abdomen, arms or thighs
- People who want to avoid surgery and downtime
We may advise against it if you have
- Heavy laxity, which is better served by a surgical consultation
- Open wounds, active acne or infection in the area
- Pregnancy
- Recent filler or implants in the area. Tell us what you have had and when.
This is general information. Your consultation covers your own health history before anything is booked.
Before and after your appointment
- 1Come with clean skin.
- 2You will feel deep warmth and prickling as each line of energy is delivered. It is most noticeable over bone.
- 3Mild redness or swelling usually settles within hours. Some people feel tenderness for a few days.
- 4Go back to normal activities straight away. Results show gradually, so judge them at three months.
