Our Aesthetic Dermatology Technician program will teach students how to operate laser IPL machines for hair removal, skin rejuvenation, pigmentation treatment, and spider vein removal. Students will identify common skin disorders while learning to do full facial treatments using ozone therapy, steaming, and high-frequency and radio-frequency devices. The curriculum includes performing aesthetic facial assessments, understanding the anatomy of human skin and skin disorders, deep vacuum pore cleansing and extraction, client consultation and after-care, safety and disposal standards, equipment maintenance, galvanic lifting and ultrasonic treatments, microdermabrasion, high-frequency treatments, radio frequency treatments, intro laser IPL treatments, and intro training to chemical peels.
